Spingasm is an immersive study of sustained, intentional spinning on hoop.

My own movement practice is rooted in sustained, nuanced spinning and a deep understanding of how rotation can support seamless transitions, shape pathways, and create more freedom inside movement.

The goal is not just to spin. It is to understand your spin deeply enough to surrender to it.

You’ll explore a range of spin entries, grips, holds, and pathways while learning how to create, center, control, and sustain rotation, then use those dynamics with intention inside your movement.

We’ll go beneath the surface of the spin and into the small technical choices that change everything.

Choose the session that meets your spin practice where it is.

ASSESS YOUR SPIN PRACTICE, NOT YOUR AERIAL LEVEL

Your overall aerial level does not automatically tell you where you are in your spin practice.

You can have strong hoop vocabulary, strength, and years of aerial experience while still developing foundational spin technique. Dedicated spinning asks for its own understanding of axis, momentum, pathways, orientation, and control.

Choose your session based on how you actually move inside rotation.

Foreplay builds the relationship. Afterglow assumes it’s already there.

If you’re unsure where you belong, Foreplay is the place to begin.

Before surrender comes trust.

Foreplay is where you learn how to meet the spin cleanly and begin exploring what’s possible inside it.

We’ll work through clean initiation, centering, body position, speed, and tolerance while exploring multiple spin grips, entries, holds, and ways to create rotation.

We’ll look at what your body is doing before your feet ever leave the ground, how you establish a cleaner axis, and how to recognize when your spin begins to oscillate.

The focus is on building a strong enough foundation that you can move with the spin instead of fighting it.

Foreplay is for you if:

  • You’re still building consistency in your spin practice

  • You can create rotation, but centering and speed control vary

  • You’re developing your understanding of oscillation and axis

  • You want cleaner entries and stronger spin mechanics

  • You want to become more comfortable inside sustained rotation

Find the feeling. Let it carry you.

You already know how to make the hoop move.

Afterglow is where we stay inside the sensation longer and start shaping what happens there.

We’ll explore sustained, nuanced spinning through offset spins, pivot-to-wind-ups, chasers, speed manipulation, and transitions at multiple hoop heights, with attention to the small flourishes that can begin before your feet even leave the ground.

We’ll work with momentum instead of simply generating it, exploring how to preserve it, redirect it, and use it to make transitions feel more seamless inside your choreography.

Afterglow is for you if:

  • You can feel when you’re oscillating and know how to correct it

  • Your flare pathways are clean and consistent

  • You can consistently mount from an active spin

  • You can regulate speed and stay oriented through sustained spinning

  • You can transition without losing the quality of your rotation

This is where control starts to feel like surrender.

THE PLEASURE IS IN THE DETAILS

Spinning well is not accidental.

A clean spin begins long before the hoop starts moving.

We’ll get into the mechanics beneath the sensation, including how you articulate through the foot, how body position changes rotation, how to recognize and correct oscillation, and how to feel when the hoop should be the center of axis versus when your body should be.

We’ll also look at momentum, speed, and the subtle choices that determine whether a spin feels centered, efficient, and sustained.

The more you understand what creates the spin, the less you have to force it.

Spingasm is designed to give you something you can keep building after the intensive ends.

You’ll leave with tools to develop your own intentional, self-sustained spin practice, plus a post-intensive reference sheet to support your continued training.

Return to it. Refine it. Deepen your practice.
